I’ve mentioned here before, but I learned printmaking from my sister-in-law during the pandemic. My first stamp was a drawing of a bug creature (an inside joke between me and my mom) that I printed all over a scarf for her. (This was my first weird silly inside joke gift idea and yes I have continued to make it a part of my practice).

And soon after that I just started drawing out ideas for stamps and printing on anything I could find. Vegetables were my first inspiration, and on the easier side to carve, so in early January 2021 I bought a plain white two-piece set off of Etsy and printed onto the top and shorts, just making up the pattern of veggies as I went.
